A free, leisurely rolling tour of the Venice Beach coastline. Meet at Windward Plaza near the LAPD substation, then skate the Ocean Front Walk north toward Venice Park and south to Venice Pier — including skating out over the ocean on the pier itself. The route loops back through the Venice Beach Skate Park and Roller Skate Dance Plaza, where there is music, a DJ and skate dance instructors, and finishes along the boardwalk past the vendors and shops. About 2–3 miles, level ground, social pace rather than strenuous. Bring water and a snack. Free street parking on the nearby side streets.
