Central Coast Sports Arena in Santa Maria, California, says its lease will not be renewed past October 31, 2026, and that without a new location its roller hockey, public skating, youth programs and tournaments may have no home in Santa Maria after that date.

The rink announced it on a "Save Our Rink" page on its own website. According to the rink, the staff spent months looking for a way to stay at the current location, which it describes as the fairgrounds, before deciding they could no longer wait. It is asking for two things: a new place to relocate, or a way to extend the lease with the fairgrounds. It also asks for help spreading the word, identifying a facility, making connections and showing support, and the site links to a GoFundMe.

Until the lease ends, the rink is still running. Public skate sessions are listed Friday from 7:30 to 10 PM, Saturday from 4 to 6 PM and 7:30 to 10 PM, and Sunday from 5:30 to 8 PM. Confirm the current schedule on the rink's site before you go.

If you know of a building, can help with the lease, or want to offer a resource, the rink asks you to contact Tobin at 805-868-3035 by text, or email ccsahockey@gmail.com. This is the rink's own account; Rink Report has not heard from the fairgrounds, and the listing stays open until the rink actually closes.
