Sunrise Rollerland in Citrus Heights was sold and is being renovated

Arcade Monsters bought the 50-year-old rink for $3.5 million, which closed to the public in March, and says the skating floor stays alongside new arcade games. Interior demolition was largely done by late August, and no firm opening date has been given.

The City of Santa Clarita opened The Rink Sports Pavilion on October 9 with public roller sessions, a rental counter and a DJ booth. Tickets for each session are sold online in advance, and the first two opening-night sessions filled up.
