The Rink Sports Pavilion, run by the City of Santa Clarita at 20870 Centre Pointe Parkway, opened on October 9 with a coated-wood floor, a DJ booth and restrooms. Its first two sessions, free opening-night skates from 5 to 7 PM and 8 to 10 PM, filled up with no wait list.

After opening night the rink runs paid public sessions. Admission is $12 for adults, $9 for youth and seniors and $15 for the evening Primetime sessions, and skate rental is $5. Every session needs a ticket, and tickets are sold online in advance, so there is no paying at the door.

October's schedule has Friday and Saturday sessions at 2, 5 and 8 PM, Sunday sessions at noon and 3 PM, and weeknight sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday, October 15, from 7 to 9 PM is an adults-only night for skaters 18 and older, and Thursday, October 29 is a Primetime night. The rink is closed October 19 to 23 for a special event, and Halloween sessions run on October 30 and 31.

The rink's house rules matter if you bring your own skates: staff inspect them before use, and metal, glass and stone wheels are not allowed because they would damage the hardwood floor. The City posts a new calendar each month, and Rink Report updates this page when it does.
